“Sexta Serie” marked the completion of my academic journey, developed in collaboration with my teammate Facundo Mau. It’s an electric bike inspired by an iconic 1950s Argentine motorcycle, the Puma Second Series.
The project underwent validation through three focus groups, and the design of the frame received approval from the Argentinian Aeronautic Institute. We meticulously designed over 200 pieces and subsystems to bring the final product to life.
Presenting the project at the National University of Córdoba was a significant moment, earning the highest score and affirming the success of Sexta Serie.
The transport problem,
The main issue in Córdoba’s transport system, as in many cities around the world, comes from the habits of private car use, and the non-efficient public transport.
Sustainable transport requires moving to transport with less space occupation, less energy use and lower CO2 emissions per trip.
and the revival of a classic...
The Segunda Serie model is considered the most iconic motorcycle in Argentina, strongly recognised and a symbol for a complete generation. It has been developed as a tool for everyday use, with resistant materials and a nice-looking facade from every angle.
This motorcycle has been the most popular and cheap means of transport, being the favourite of the working social classes to go from home to factories around the city.

The exploration started with a general exploration, progressing through various stages and incorporating feedback from focus groups to arrive at a design closely aligned with public expectations for the new electric Puma.

Technical development.
More than 200 pieces were designed and modelled in Rhinoceros and Solidworks, and materialised in different ways, like glass-fibre, 3D printing, bent metal, welding, plastic thermoforming, etc.
